Ayase Station is the station of Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, JR East Joban line, and JR Cargo located in Ayase 3-chome, Adachi-ku, Tokyo. The average daily passengers are 450,965 people (including direct connected passengers) boasting 2nd largest in number among the other direct connected stations in the subways of Tokyo. In Ayase area, land reallocation arrangement project was done after WWII, and in front of the station, there are large-scale commercial facilities and shopping avenues along with straight-line roads centering on main street. There are many parks in this area, and in the north part of Ayase area, there is Toritsu Higashi Ayase Park with broad area which has athletic facilities and small streams providing amusement area for children as well as water and green relaxing space.
